The local stannary and market town of Ashburton lies 5 miles from Lower Aish, and is an excellent stop off point for a multitude of supplies. The town boasts an array of shops covering everything from a wonderful delicatessen to supplies for mountain biking, climbing, walking etc.

 

The bunkhouse location is perfect for those that would like to bring school parties to Dartmoor for activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh and Ten Tors training.

 

The River Dart is a mile away with excellent parking and facilities for canoeists as well as mountain biking, riding and walking holidays.
